Sky entertainment

Hi

was just wondering do I need to keep the sky entertainment package with the sky glass as I would like to cancel it and take out sky cinema and sky kids but I don't want to do that if it's going to affect the sky glass service

Hi @Scamp061999

It's not possible to remove entertainment and keep the others. If you remove entertainment you effectively cancel the whole TV subscription.

Thanks,

Tim

@Scamp061999  You can't add anything else without entertainment as it's a prerequisite before anything else

@Scamp061999  Yes you can cancel (unless still in contract) and still use the tv, the link below explains what this entails

Re: Sky entertainment

If you cancel you will be left not quite but basically with a dump monitor. You can access the pre loaded apps but no freeview tv.

If you want freeview via an aerial then the apps section no longer functions.

Sky have truly wrapped up the TV into a subscription format and you are left most certainly not with a Smarter than a smart TV.

You can attach third party product like a Firestick, Roku, Apple TV etc.

Re: Sky entertainment

Why buy sky glass without keeping sky entertainment as the most basic pack to utilise the TV for? This way you have the guide and all channels which would be on free view anyway and easier access to the apps.
