I am watching 4 on demand now no problems here, all apps are working on glass tv and the puck I have checked all apps on both,

@peter-marlow+1966 Yeah it doesn't seem to be a widespread issue as a fellow commenter also says they can access with no problem.
Very odd as we've had no issues whatsoever like this previously. I'm waiting on All4/Channel 4 support to reply; as Sky have asked I contact them for a solution.
If I don't get anywhere; it may be a complete factory reset needed...but I'll pick that up with Sky for support doing so.
Thanks for replying to my post.

Most unreliable app on the TV for me

Hi All, finally found the solution. The system needed a complete reset (re-connection to account, apps...etc). Steps taken:
After doing the above the system completely reset and access to the app was okay again. Had to sign in to everything again but it's back to normal.

The cheek to tell you to contact channel 4,I don't have any issues with the 4 app on any other devices.
It's the crap inside the TV that is at fault

@roger1949 Not the most helpful, no. They said they ran diagnostics and saw no issues and I should contact All4/Channel4 support as it appeared an issue with the app.
All4/Channel4 were responsive and asked me to try a couple of things. They made no difference and a full reset was suggested. I sourced how to do this myself and hey presto, it worked!
When doing the reset, the screen did say it was updating software. I can only assume it was in fact a Sky Glass software issue... which would have been handy for Sky support to have run through prior to referring me to All4/Channel 4.
They did however say if after doing so, things were still not working; to contact them again.
At least it's sorted now. I guess!!

We had problems with All4 loading last night, same thing it was just spinning, done the usual unplug and reboot and it was ok.

Try using RESTART ... if it happens again it's probably more convenient than accessing to plug to power on/off🤔

@slaters Restart didn't work. I did that; also updated apps and still it wasn't loading.
It needed a complete reboot and doing the steps outlined in my earlier comment worked.

@slaters That wasn't meant for you, sorry!

Just for FYI the steps you outlined isn't a complete reboot, it's the recovery process and is the same as a full factory reset. Pleased it has worked for you, but should be done with the guidance of Sky.

@mikealanr Sky told me to contact All4/Channel4 about it as they said I'd previously done the steps they'd advise.
So I took it upon myself to research and this solution was presented (as All4/Channel4 said it wasn't an issue their side).
