Upon the latest update (QS034) that completed last week on Glass and Stream, can you tell me if you're still having an issue with All4 not loading?

Hi @Chloe-W22 My Ch4 app is loading correctly.  In fact I am watching something on Ch4 right now 👍

I have the new update on my Stream, have the new skip ads button at least.  I've also refreshed the apps, again. Still not working, All4 stuck at the loading screen with the C4 logo spinning.   All other apps and channels are working fine. 

Like others, had this problem for months now,  so any help would be great!

Was watching the bake off last night using watch from start about half way through when forwarding through the ads it stopped and returned to live TV this often happens on watch from start for us especially ch4 and sometimes 5.

@slaters  This is a known issue which Sky are trying to resolve.  I find it really annoying and hope they find a solution soon.  My only advice and is what I do when I remember is to avoid using FF when watching from start or after pausing for any length of time.

Hi, still no change. I already posted a video and there has been no change to the issue for me whilst using one of my pucks, the other works fine so appears to be no rhyme or reason to this.

should I ask Sky for a replacement puck? Appears I'm paying for a partial service....

to add to this I'm now having issues with "technical difficulties" rendering me unable to watch anything!!

I am having the same problem. I added pottery throw down to my playlist and had trouble watching the Xmas special and again now the new series has started.

Sky do not know how to fix the Channel 4 app. Informed of that today 20/01/2025.

 

They are still selling televisions with two known faults . :

 

1.  Lip Sync

 

2. channel 4 App.

 

I believe someone you go on Social media or find a keen investigated Journalist to advise prospective purchasers of these problems.

I don't believe it's a TV issue as I use my old Samsung tv with the puck and have same issues.

 

The lip synching can be sorted by turning off and on the tv or changing channels and returning to station.

 

Channel 4 spinning - try going back to factory settings (not the same as reset which doesn't resolve issue).   You must remember to have all your passwords for your stations as you will have to start from the beginning again!

I have been having this issue for months and it is still happening now. The logo just moves like it's loading but it never loads.

My Channel 4 app has t worked for months, I just get the 4 icon and nothing else. I bypassed this by just turning my Sky Stream off and using the app on my TV,  it all the adverts have finally got to me!! I e rebooted, reset, restarted the Sky Stream service and nothing works, I've updated the app, stopped and started the app, nothing works. Any ideas?

We have the same problem. The channel 4 app stopped working when we changed our fibre connection to sky. The app opens, I can select a program and the ads play but the actual program doesn't. Just get a spinning circle.

Hi my 4 app stopped working on my sky glass on Sunday 26th January 2025 evening around 10pm  (sorry don't know exact time) 

I am unable to load the 4 app or watch anything from channel 4 that I have added to my playlist 

I have tried to refresh app, do the restart in the system management screen and have also turned the tv off at the wall 

but still not working today which is Wednesday 29th January 2025 at 1.53pm 

initially I got a message saying something about this is embarrassing we have a problem and now nothing it won't load sometimes I get a circle as if it's loading but nothing else happens otherwise I get a blank screen 

would be grateful for any help

my 4 app has not work d on sky glass since Sunday 26th January 2025 evening approx 10pm 

I am not able to load the app or watch anything from c4 saved to my playlist 

sorry I haven't got a video icon on here to submit the video of what happens only  option is for photo 

I either get a blank screen or a circle as if loading which comes to nothing 

 

I have tried the app refresh & restart through system management screen and have also tried to switch off at the wall still no joy Wednesday 29th January 2025 at the 2.04pm

I cannot connect to my channel 4 app. I can connect to all other apps on my sky glass re I have rebooted the Tver and internet by switching off, leaving for a minute, and then turning on. Still no Channel 4 app connection. I have reset the internet connection on my sky glass tv as instructed on the google internet, still without success. Any other suggestions to get this app working
