Really helpful to see Sky are now on the case. Forgive me for asking a completely stupid question, but when I log into Channel 4 on my laptop how to do I locate my User Id and Session Id? There is nothing in my account settings which would appear to be these. @Daniel-F

Been experiencing this issue since I tuned into the My4 app around 9.40 pm this evening to watch MAFS UK. Adverts play but not the show itself. Just a spinning whirl.

Been experiencing this issue since 10 pm trying to watch MAFSUK refreshed apps reset all etc as advised and still not working very frustrating 🙄

Yep I have had the same thing all night too - either get the spinning round - trying to load thing or the screen crashes... and the remote won't work on the app but it's fine on all of the other apps...

There was a similar problem this evening with a few of us on our Sky Stream pucks with ad skipping and the C4 app playing an ad and then spinning. Thread link below.
Sounds similar to your problem you all encountered this evening.
I believe this problem tonight is more about the ad skipping, than the app starting up and not responding well. So a tad different problem.
Have noticed in last hour the ad skipping problem for the C4 app has now been fixed on my pucks.
Has it for you on your Sky Glass TVs?

I can't get channel 4 on demand on my sky glass, it works on my puk on a different TV but not sky glass
I have unplugged the TV to do an update undated the apps on the TV but it still doesn't work.

This seems to be affecting quite a few users at the moment .... some are suggesting leaving it as long as you can until it eventually loads. Have you pulled the plug on your glass tv for a good 5 minutes ?

C4 also a few days ago suffered some ad skipping problems within the app that were fixed, but the app is still suffering from the other ongoing spinning fault on/off for many of us.

Hi @Jporch316, after following the reset instructions I posted on this thread a while ago, we've not had any more issues with the app at all. We watch 'Countdown' each day in the evening via the app (amongst other things); and it's been fine since.
Sky did advise it's best to contact them before performing the reset (we did it ourselves). Our issue was using the app via the Sky Glass tv; where some commenters appear to be having issues with Sky puck.

Have done another factory reset which so far seems to have done the trick , had to sign in to every thing again so if you try this have passwords ready you will loose on screen lists until you resign to apps
