Posted by a Sky employeeHi Everyone
We're on a journey to make Playlists even better than they are today! We'd love for your feedback and ideas on how we can take them to the next level.
Should Playlists include other services or content? Would you like to be able to track YouTube items in your Playlist? Something not working the way you think it should? What ever your idea is, please tell us about it here.

Would like for the profiles within playlists to track shows independently...... if the same shows exist within multiple playlists the system can track the episodes viewed separately

For example I often cancel subscription to Apple TV then resume at a later date. While not subscribed it would be handy to hide the Apple TV shows temporarily with a filter then when resubscribed be able to display them again

Thank you for this. I like Playlist, but I still think it's too hard to find stuff on. I know it isn't meant to be traditional recording, but it would be great to have a viewing option that sorts your playlisted shows out as if they were recorded.
For example – if you press + on a specific episode of a show, it would be great to have a screen which shows which specific episodes you've saved/recorded on your Playlist... rather than just showing the whole show itself then you have to remember which season/episode it was and try to find it.
Thanks!

"We're on a journey to make Playlisted even better than they're today"
Well, that's not hard. How about making the service first for purpose. Currently, I couldn't even describe the service as 'poor' it's so far beyond poor.
So, never mind asking for ideas to make it better. Please, please start off by fixing it's failures, of which there are many.
I don't have many programmes on my playlist, It's all F1. I like to watch all the 'live' programs. But in a busy household, I rarely get to watch them live.
But it takes far too long to find the 'recorded' content I want to watch, if it's even available.
And when I do find the programme it's often on the 'what's coming' list, which is completely pointless, if ai want to know what's coming I'd goto the TV guide...
Sometimes though, there is content under what's coming that is recorded, but then you watch watch it and the 'play icon' doesn't appear...
And then there is the situation that happened today to spoil the season finale of the F1. Wanting to watch the race build-up programme, eventually finding the recording of a replay, the programme started with the podium following the race. Great, that's for ruining the excitement of discusovering who wins the race, and the constructors championship in in the 2-3 seconds it takes for me to pick up the remote and fast forward to the start of the actual programme.
Sky stream overall is a rubbish service that has so many bugs, I'd not even feel comfortable calling it a Beta test service. The playlist functionality within is the worse part of it all.
Go back to allowing users to select programmes to 'record' and 'series link' that are listed in the order they are aired within the playlist.
Oh, and fire whoever signed off the sky stream service for public release.
Shambles!
