I've been having this issue for the past month (in addition to the constant buffering despite good bandwidth). 

The suggested fix did resolve the issue, but when set to Passthrough it now feels like live-action is being mimed. I've switched back to PCM for now, but don't wont to scrimp on quality when watching 4k UHD content.
