Posted by a Sky employeeHi all,
We've seen an increase in comments and views regarding lip sync issues on Glass and Stream during the holiday period. Our support teams are still investigating the matter, but we'd like to gather individual customer experiences from the forum to assist in the investigation.
To help us with this, we've created a Microsoft Form where you can share your experience: https://forms.office.com/e/6CvrKz5R3a
The survey includes 7 questions and should take a few minutes to complete, please be as accurate as possible.
We're really sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate you taking the time to complete this survey. I'll be marking this post as the thread answer so more people can see it.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreHi @2393.m15hK4.0591 I thought this issue had been resolved by Sky but obviously not as yours is the second post I have read this evening. As a temporary solution try changing your audio setting to PCM or passthrough. I found mine worked OK on Dolby Digital plus when I had lip sync issues in the past.
Also, as with any electronic gadget these days a reboot will often resolve issues. To do a reboot/restart go to Settings > System Management > Resets & Updates > Restart device (do not do a factory reset). It takes about 3 minutes to completely reboot. You will have a blank screen for a couple of minutes before the Sky logo appears so don’t worry as this is a normal part of the process.

Did get you to do anything or did Sky do something and did nothing ... and it was corrected🤔

The sound is about 2 seconds ahead of the picture it's almost becoming impossible to watch . Tried changing sound settings nothing works, watching a football match is dreadful the crowd cheer before something happens . I pay a lot of money every month for something that is a joke

Same here, last few days it's done it multiple times. Just pulled the power 20 minutes ago and it's out of sync AGAIN.
Bloody Joke.
The list of issues I have with Sky Glass is longer than the screen is wide, but this is a show stopper.

I should say it's only "live" TV that does it, seems downloads are OK.

I've noticed if I watch a programme using 'watch from start' , when that programme finishes, the TV automatically goes back to the programme which is now playing but the lip sync is totally out??
I have to go onto another channel, select that then go back to the original programme?!
What is going on??!!

I'm having problems with lip synching on my sky glass tv

Power off the TV unplug from mains plug back in switch it back on. Should solve the issue. Had problems on TLC and ITV a few weeks ago. All other channels were OK.

TNT sports out of sync. Live football. Have rebooted 3 times in 30 minutes. Paying for a service that is not 100% its a joke!!!

Had this a lot recently and have it right now watching the match. Tried rebooting, switching between the two channels the game is on. Useless. 130+ quid a month for this. Really.

Hi my sky glass kept going out of sync but I found if I pause for a few seconds and resume it fixes the problem.

same pattern of going out of sync for me too
most days at least once a day
power off/on clears it.
Wiil try a pause next time
still very irritating though.
