I got sky glass yesterday and connect via WiFi. My home receives 1gb broadband but router is in another room I get WiFi speeds over over 100mbps next to the TV and apparently 30mbps is recommended, so I'm well over the requirements. Live TV keeps buffering, last night it was through itvx, but today it is watching sport in uhd.
I use a bt whole home disc set around the house to help boost my WiFi, so today I tried to plug sky glass directly into one of the discs by ethernet (not my main router in the house) to try and stablise the already fast connection, to see if that helps.
When I try to connect back to the Internet, I get an error message saying "no IP address found. If IP address allocation is disabled on your router, you'll need to enable this before continuing".
My questions are:
1) why am I getting buffering issues with an uninterrupted WiFi speed of we'll over 100mbps
2) how do I deal with the error message to allow me to try the connectio via ethernet.

A lot of people are having this, so what I have tried so far is changed the DNS settings and this did not work, connected via Ethernet , did not work, tried three different internet providers and it made no difference , restarted the tv for 30 seconds, two mins and a complete factory restart none made any difference, the only common factor is the latest update.
