Wont turn on.

My Sky Glass turned off yesterday by itself and hasn't come back on.

I've spoken to Sky who talked me through the whole rebooting system but still nothing.

They are sending me a new power cable as a last resort but if that doesn't work that's it.
I bought my Sky Glass (big mistake) so can't get any repairs done through Sky as not on credit contract.

Has anyone ever had this happen to them? If so did you get it fixed or do I have to look at getting a new tv?

@Lynne621  Whether you bought it on credit or outright you can still get a repair/replacement if it fails within the 1st 2 years of purchase.  How long have you had the TV?

Why do you think you can't get a repair/replacement?

Have you tried the recovery process on step4 of this article.

Sometimes it can take a couple of attempts to get it back up and running;

Have tried  the plug in a different  socket, and have checked  the fuse, and tried  the power button  on  the  side  of  the  tv, i had a similar  issue  the other day  with my tv it was plugged in to  an extension  lead and would  not turn on  but the dvd player which was plugged in to  the  same lead was on i unplugged  the extension  lead and plugged  the tv into the mains socket  and the tv switch  on
