Yes same again today, unusable. Just  not good enough.

does the hard reset loose your playlist etc?

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.

@wsimm No, you will not lose your playlist but you will need to re-set up your settings like turning WiFi off if you use ethernet, turn off auto standby etc.

The technical staff will talk you through it. It's an easy process but you need to be on the phone with them in case of problems.

Re: Sky Glass Technical Fault AM

@Staceymay88 Have you rung Sky about this? I did and since doing a hard reset on the phone with them I have not had a reoccurrence. It seems to be happening to a fair few customers of the past few days so the more people that log it directly with Sky then better.

Sky Glass will not load programmes

In the past couple of days I have had a continual problem with programmes failing to load, usually culminating in a technical fault message. I have been through the reboot process multiple times; spoken to Sky helpline all to no avail. This is not a cheap service and I am really disappointed that this problem is ruining my viewing experience. Every time I want to watch something I have to reset the system, even then it occasionally fails to solve the problem.

I have been through the troubleshooting process multiple times, my broadband is fast enough and stable. Can anyone from Sky help because at the moment it seems that nobody from Sky seems to care or know how to solve the problem. In the meantime I am paying for a useless heap of junk and it isn't cheap!

Firstly.

Can you do a network speed test on your Sky Glass TV and any of your Pucks, if you have them.
Launch Netflix on yiur Sky Gkass tv or pucks (you do not need to be logged into it, if you do not use netflix) and scroll down the left menu to Get help.
Choose Check Network.
Would suggest running the test a few times, say a hanfpdful of times over an hour period..
What is your speed?

Would suggest also trying a restart of your Sky Glass Tv or pucks.
Go to Settings>Systems Management>Resets & Updates
Select Restart device
Your Sky Glass tv or puck  will perform a reboot. It will take a few minutes to complete

Re: Sky Glass will not load programmes

Lots of us have been having similar issues.

A few days ago I spoke with Sky Technical who talked me through a hard reset of the TV (you lose your picture settings etc but not your playlist). I've not had any problems since, touch wood. It's a bit more effective than the basic reset process.

If connected by ethernet and you do a hard reset make sure to go into settings and turn WiFi off.

Might be worth calling them and doing the same. It is an easy process but you need to be on the phone with them in case there are issues.

Re: Last few days, technical fault with channel, disney plus etc works.

@jimmarten2015 Have you spoken to Sky Technical and got them to do a hard reset with you? If not it's worth making the call and going through that process with them. It solved my issue to date.

Yep I have the same problem as well

@Leam210 I refer to my previous replies. It seems the only solution is a hard reset, which should only be done speaking to Sky in case of problems.

Re: Sky Glass Technical Fault AM

So, now we have to leave it feeding the ulitily bill 24/7, to have a functional TV? This has to be a joke. How about SKy fixing this  instead?

There is no reality where I'll ever upgrade to another Sky TV. The quality issues that are never fixed is astounding, be it this or HDMI devices with sound out of sync. Stuttering video on what I suspect is "too popular" broadcasts, bluetooth connections that keeps being forgotten. We can't spend 15 minutes every day factory resetting a TV to get basic expected functionality.

Sky glass not loading channels

Second night of not being able to watch TV - any channels - as Sky Glass won't load them. Says there's a technical fault. All devoce checks and wifi are fine..tried the.off and on again trick and same with modem. Worth ditching glass and going back to something reliable?

Try unplugging the tv  for  about  minutes  and  see if that works if not give sky a call  in the  morning

Re: Sky Glass will not load programmes

Thanks Gavin...I will give it a go, although just getting someone intelligible and knowledgeable at Sky is a challenge in itself!!
