Recessed Plug Socket Sky Glass Gen 2

Hi, I have just order Sky Glass Gen 2 43 inch. I am looking to wall mount it with a plug socket behind the TV. I note in the instructions it says for that the plug socket needs to be recessed into the wall with a seperate isolation switch elsewhere. I am presently looking into getting the plug socket installed. My electrician has said the smallest recess box is 54 mm, so would require taking away some of the brick behind the plasterboard which isn't ideal as then getting into structural engineering terrioty. As such, ideally need the recess box to pretrude a bit to avoid going into the brickwork. My question is firstly has anyone done a recessed plug socket behind the TV yet, and if so if you have any advice for me. Also, does anyboy know when the TV is wall mounted how much space there is between the back of the TV and the wall that could possibly allow for a protusion of the recessed socket, or even a normal plug socket or too tight a space?

Thanks

Michael
