Sky glass remote not muting tv

My remote no longer mutes the tv the sound bar goes done but still stays at the same volume , can turn the sound down though with the remote.

Sky Glass 55 and x3 Pucks and become very irritated by sky glass
Download 900 upload 300 so don’t blame my internet .

Same here. I have to mute and then volume down. 

Right pain, especially when they have the cheek to increase prices for products that are not close to being stable. 

It keeps on telling me to upgrade my subscription, to watch C4. Lols

Had exactly the same issue after latest update in October 2024.

spoke to advisor who recommended re connecting remote control .

after going to settings - connected devices- remote control - then connect remote control tab.... Even though remote was connected already . 
it then said remote control connected and problem solved... mutes again - no two stage process of mute then volume down.

This is happening to me. Going to connected devices doesn't fix it though? Seriously annoying - another fundamental bug bundled free with Sky's latest software update.
