@londonfox82

I wouldn't have thought so as the back profile of the TV is different. However any VESA mount should work for gen 1 as long as it is rated for the weight.

@Super+Anthony suggest you start a new tread in the Stream forum if you want to discuss the need for a Stream 2 puck. Unpicking a thread isnt simple.

Does anyone know if the Gen1 wall mount works with Gen2 TV?

No: the v1 wall bracket absolutely relies on the load-bearing recess engineered into the back of the v1 television, which isn't there on the v2

@Super+Anthony  May be best just to create a thread in the stream forum as @Chrisee posted it would be too much work to unpick any posts referencing Stream 2 without making this thread look disjointed.

Has the Sky Live camera been binned? No mention of it on the website during the purchase process for Glass Gen 2.

Still available and compatible as far as I am aware.

Sky Live appears to be Sky Dead. It seems to have been totally removed as an option during the purchase process of Glass Gen2.

No obvious mention of it anywhere on the Glass promo pages.

I guess they've decided not to make any more of the cameras and will quietly let the service fizzle out.

The inclusion of a USB-C port on the gen2 Glass would suggest that if you plugged in a Live camera it would work, but it certainly looks like there won't be many/any more updates for it.

If you do a Google search for Sky Live camera and click on the link it just opens the Glass gen2 page - which has zero mention of Sky Live.

RIP Sky Live.

To quote one review site:

Sky has since introduced a Vivid mode that increases the HDR brightness from 430 nits on a 5% HDR window to 566 nits on a 5% window or 670 nits on a 10% window. While still not on par with more recent QLED and Mini LED TVs, the Vivid mode adds more colour and saturation to images and gives black levels more depth. It also results in less noticeable blooming.

Re: Sky Glass 2.0 Launch Details

Sky are getting absolutely crucified in the media and influencers with gen 2, and also crucified by people who are “stuck” with their gen 1 who think they are entitled to free everlasting hardware upgrades whenever a new TV comes out.

Serves sky right for making such a ridiculous piece of hardware to begin with. Low to mid range at best, priced like a top spec oled, yet has specs straight out of 2015, and suck with a proprietary OS which makes it next to useless without paying an everlasting subscription.

“Sky Glass” should be renamed “Buyer’s Remorse” to give people a head’s up.
