Just a note all, if you want to purchase the Sky Glass Wall Mount for your Sky Glass Gen 2, it can only be purchased when you order your Sky Glass.
I've just had to cancel an order and make a new one – customer service confirmed it can't be added later or purchased separately.

@mrwwt Similar to my previous post which was speculation but I have now had confirmation from the Sky that the information you received is in fact correct at the moment. A wall mount can currently only be purchased when you purchase the TV. It will be made available as a seperate item in the future, just not yet.

I have posed the question of the closed forum and will report back when I get an answer. Customers will often decide to wall mount at a later date.

Probably a sales and logistics thing. It's relatively easy to have a system which ships a wall mount as an extra on the original order: that's effectively what they did with the v1 tabletop stand in its separate box.
Doing so retrospectively needs a separate sales path and fulfilment, and that's much harder (particularly if there's a credit term involved)

Agreed – I certainly think this is the possibility. I called at like 8:10 and the guy said I was the first person to order the new Glass over the phone. So it would make sense if they weren't quite sure of the wall mount process yet.
Let us know what they say!

Does the gen 2 tv not have the wall mount integrated as part of the stand like the gen 1 did?!

No it doesn't. The stand is flat with two small poles that the tv has to be lifted and placed on. There is no back plate on gen 2

That mount is a £99 extra (or an additional £4pcm on a 24 month loan / £2pcm on a 48 month loan term)
Note that it must be ordered at the same time as the Glass set: there's currently no way to obtain it retrospectively.

Thanks. I was hoping it was one bought elsewhere. We got delivery of the new sky glass today but weren't made aware that we needed to purchase it all together. We're now left with a new tv sitting in the floor! Absolute joke that you can't purchase it after the initial sale. Thanks for you help.
