Re: ALLM causing lag spikes/screen jumps every 5 seconds

I had a series S, upgraded to X, but only play destiny 2 so it was wasted on me as it plays exactly the same, so I reverted to series S & got 2,  1 downstairs, 1 upstairs, & I play were theres no people lol. When I was on PS4 I used to have to keep moving it room to room, almost as painful as unplugging the TV 40 times a day 🙂

2 months to the day. Any chance of reaching out for an ETA? I've unplugged my TV about 450 times since we last spoke 🙂

Re: ALLM causing lag spikes/screen jumps every 5 seconds

The 50hz business was an assumption on my part. Purely down to the fact that the issue seems to arise when you come out of game, but then it would make sense that it's a HDR/Dolby Vision issue because there still a switch of video mode/settings, whatever it is.

Either way, it needs to be sorted soon because this has been going on quite a while now and I'd imagine the frustration is only going to increase post-Christmas with people being gifted an Xbox, PS5 and anything else for that matter, and realising they have this issue.

It'd be ideal to be able to put the TV in some sort of developer mode so you can see diagnostics or a real-time log of what's happening when you flick out of a game.

A bit of acknowledgement to the recent messages since the last update wouldn't go amiss. Keep people in the loop.

Re: ALLM causing lag spikes/screen jumps every 5 seconds

I've messaged the guy twice & nothing. From what I read ages ago, the company who make them is called TP Vision. & it's either ex Phillips employees, or it's a Phillips design passed on when they dropped TVs & now make medical equipment. They're in Holland.

I'm hoping it's then fixing this & not people at sky, maybe that's the issue.

Hello, it's been over two months, do we have an update on this issue?

It's been 4 months since this thread, it's been 8 months since the original update. I think we're screwed tbh

Yup, and it's rumored a new sky glass tv to be released this year so I have little faith us with the current one will get a resolution.

Next month, wow, feel kinda ripped off now. This will be what the original would have been if not for the pandemic.

@Daniel-F

Any updates on this at all?

You mentioned the dev team have managed to replicate the issue, but we've heard nothing since.
