Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@P50 I also have my gripes and moans and I can understand your frustration. However although it may not be evident to most forum users as a SU I am aware of how hard Sky are working behind the scenes to resolve issues.
I know it's a matter of personal perspective, but I find most issues are just an annoyance and are resolved by a simple reboot but obviously some are more serious and need to be treated as a priority. Sky Q was a mess when I first moved from Sky HD as a relatively early adopter but they got there in the end so I'm sure they will get the streaming platform sorted in due course.

This is a huge oversight from Sky and should be a very easy fix. Come on, no lame excuses... I work in the tech and app industry.

Try selecting the programme on continue watching, then press I button (information) on remote control and you should get the option to delete, this is what I do but doesn't seem to work with Netflix recordings but I delete those on Netflix, hope this helps.

There isn't an "I" button on my remote. Any other thoughts?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe previous comment i believe was targeted for Sky Q users, as the poster didn't realise this was the Sky Glass/Stream forum.
Unfortunately there is no way currently to remove from Sky Glass/Stream, asside from fast forwarding to the end of the current episode, then fast forwaring to the end of the last episode for that show. Ultimately this works for shows that are older where no new episodes are being released, but for active shows you can't do anything as whenever the next episode is available it will appear on continue watching.

Sky need to address this and get it added to the software. This is something that the majority of people would welcome.

@MarkGoldsmith - thanks for this. I'd hoped the solution had progressed since the beginning of this thread but clearly not. Yeah, I'm on Stream and the fast forward thing only really works if the auto play hasn't sent you onto a 10 season 24 episode per season programme you're not particular interested in. Haha. Is this glitch just for Sky based apps or across all apps

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIts for everything unfortunately. Clearly its not high on Sky's list to fix unfortunately, i mean how different is it to add the option of press the 3 dots button on a show and selecting "remove from continue watching".

@MarkGoldsmith - well I'm not completely tech or app based but I'm sure if they can do this for adding/removing to playlists then surely there should be a way right? Oh well - will just have to persevere with it for now.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Matt0780 Have a look at my post 8 above which I posted 9 months ago. I still use these methods but admittedly sometimes with more success than at other times. This is the one thing that that might drive me away from Sky. Streaming is most definitely the future of TV but despite their best efforts Sky are not there yet.

I think the whole thing is a joke released too soon by sky who should have had it working correctly before transferring customers on to it. It spends more time not working than working.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe continue watching rail is pretty complex compared to a continue rail within an app such as Netflix or prime. Skys continue watching has to pull content markers from multiple different sources / apps.
im surprised it works at all and I only use it sparingly .....

If they cannot make it work they should delete it.

@Ca72 They don't need to delete it, just don't use it if you don't like it 😀
Personally, I find it really annoying and it is my main dislike with the streaming platform but I still find it better than nothing 👍

What a helpful comment. I am not talking about using it, any program you click on even for a moment is added to it and the list Just gets longer and longer. If you do not have anything helpful to say keep quiet.
