Speculation.

Got this today!
Hello, it's Sky. Thank you for taking the time to contact us regarding the Lip Sync issue you are experiencing. This is a known issue and our bock office team are working on a resolution. NoReply
I presume bock they mean back?
still waiting!

It's not speculation as I know of at least 3 people in my own family who do not subscribe to this community forum. With you stating a one word answer like that gives me the impression that everything with your Sly setup is kosher? If it is, then please don't comment with what can only be described as defending the indefensible.

Thank you for defending me Paul! I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't realise the forum exists

So that's three then. Of course it's speculation. Only Sky know the real extent of the problem.

From @amagluglug's post, that's simply untrue.

I went to fill out the form as it's happening again watching the football but form closed and it says they have enough information to work on a fix. Hopefully soon as it's starting to really annoy me!

How do you know that’s the case? Has Sky provided you with a live video feed of all the people they’ve got working on it around the clock? The only way you can even get an admission from Sky that this - or any other - problem exists is to wait for ages to speak to their **priority** help line, only to be told things you knew before you called. By the way, I’d hate to know how long you’d need to wait to get an answer from a non-priority help line at Sky.
This issue goes back to at least last August - when this thread started - and it clearly still hasn’t been fixed. Even if Sky is working on it, they’re clearly not doing much, and yet Sky Glass is still marketed as being close to the best thing since sliced bread.
This is meant to be pinnacle of Sky’s product line, yet it’s full of bugs - read some of the other strands in these fora if you want confirmation of that. If Sky Glass were a car from a responsible manufacturer, it would have gone through loads of recalls by now and new customers would likely think twice before buying it. Yet, Sky hasn’t, to my knowledge, ever publicly admitted to any issue whatsoever with Sky Glass. Come on, Sky - how about a bit of honesty? This isn’t a fiver a month we’re talking about here, people pay a lot of money for this - but they’re clearly getting a sub-standard level of service, they have been for at least six months, and that’s just with this specific issue. At this rate, all Sky is doing is setting itself up for a class-action lawsuit. I can see the adverts now: "did you own a Sky Glass TV between 2022-2025? You may be owed thousands...........".

Yes has always had problems and they have stopped advertising it lately I am told there trying out a another make of television what we would do with ours I do not know but that could be years away

It's not just Sky Glass - this issue has affected Sky Stream Pucks for months now and in my opinion is getting worse every day. I've spent hours on the phone disputing every single excuse that they are throwing at this issue:
"I can see the problem straight away - you've got 4 pucks and even when they're switched off they are using your broadband - you need to increase your speed" Absolute nonsense! "You need to get BT to rebalance your system" WHAT!!!'
if 4 pucks is too many for my current network why did you sell me the product in the first place!!!!!!
"You say that you have several BT boosters throughout the house - that's the problem - get BT engineers to sort it out" RUBBISH!!
SKY ARE IN BREACH OF CONTRACT ON A MASSIVE SCALE AND THEY ARE LYING TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.
It is utterly disgraceful that they are dragging their feet on this issue for so long and blaming the manufacturers of the Pucks. It can't be long before Class legal action begins for compensation for this pathetic service from
Sky.

I have two pucks don't really use one much only our upstairs one but just for hour or so but at this time my husband is watching msn city and Ipswich and he said they interviewed the managers and it was really bad sometimes we switch off the comentry because they say goal before we see it what a terrible service it is and still charge the same

Sky glass is the worst decision we've ever made , constantly freezing turns itself off constantly getting THERE IS A TECHNICAL ISSUE WITH THE CHANNEL lipsink 3 seconds out .
