My new sky glass tv randomly just flashes on then off of its own accord, all the time this happens is when the tv is off and either myself or my wife is sat in living room. There is no volume/sound heard, just a flash of the screen sometimes the line of colours horizontally.
All the smarts are turned off ie glance etc so nothing is on to cause this.

Try unplugging the glass for a few minutes .

Thanks, already done so. Left it unplugged for another reason too, issues with lip sync happens on a regular basis and itv seems to suffer most when glitches in signal stream happens.

The lip sync is a current issue being investigated by sky at the moment
if the tv is turning off and on randomly i can escalate your post to the online sky community team if you wish for troubleshooting
otherwise it sounds like a defective unit ...

Thanks and yes I was sort of aware of lip sync, the main issue is the tv momentarily switches on then off in a blink of an eye. Very strange behaviour.
Thanks for your reply.

No, not a word. Also noticing stuck pixels too now.

Never seem to get anywhere with sky in my experience. They need to get it sorted for you before your paying to watch a blank screen
