The Sky puck settings are pretty basic.
Is there a hidden settings
menu like we had with the original sky boxes?

The only settings for customers are the ones that are visible.
Thanks,

It's a basic device, mass produced and designed to be as easy as possible for as many people as possible. If you want high-end hardware with more settings to tweak then Sky Stream isn't it.

Difficult to imagine what else might be there: by definition almost all control over (for example) video options will naturally be on the monitor rather than the puck.

Which gives access to RF output and LNB mode options, which obviously have no relevance or parallel here.

I guess if someone's used to the kind of settings which are available on Apple TV boxes (RGB vs YCbCr, frame rate & dynamic range matching, screen saver options, etc) then the Stream puck will seem pretty basic.

Don't see any settings for a screensaver on the Sky Stream but it works pretty well without them @SlenderRobert takes about 2 mins to kick in deciding what to watch from tv guide screen saver kicks in

The problem (for me) with the Sky Stream screensavers is that it's just yet more ads for content which the user has no control over. The screensavers on an Apple TV box can be configured and are all rather lovely calming drone shots of landscapes, cities, and underwater aquatic life. I personally like having the choice and therefore choose not to use Sky Stream very often.

some of them are borderline not appropriate
