Is this a common problem. Putting paper in the remote must cause lots of issues. Very poor of Sky. Can't get the back of either. So can't set up stream now. Very disappointed

Other subscribers have suggested wearing rubber kitchen gloves to give you more purchase on the remote. Note, the back only moves a few millimetres and it can then be removed.

Yes thought about that. Sky supposed to be sending replacement remote.
