Fraudulent text?

I received a text today from Sky, offering me SkyQ at no extra cost.

I have just signed up for a new 18 month contract, so either this is a scam or Sky has just forgotten to offer me this enhancement.

I would have loved to contact Sky about this, but apparently nobody is home.

Obviously, I am not going to click on any links in the text.   But I am interested to know if anyone else has received this text?

If so, and it is a fraud - Sky - please take note!

Without knowing what the text has said it is difficult to say for sure if this is a scam text or it is one from Sky sent to you in error. The phone lines to call Sky open at 7am if you want to check with them.

@Blacksheep if you currently have Sky+ it's entirely possible that the text is genuine. What is the text inviting you to do to follow it up?
