Subscription cancelled without me knowing.

I have just received an email saying my TV subscription has been cancelled when I never even received the sky puck to have an active subscription. I have been waiting for my order to get delivered since last week and nothing has been delivered and now the email says I cancelled my subscription when I didn't. Can someone please help me with this .

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@HGWells  You will need to call Sky when they open to discusss this issue as we are all customers here.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Subscription cancelled without me knowing.

Hi there,

I had the same issue about 6-7 month ago, and my case was the broadband and landlines package contract with SKY. I called their customer service straight away as didn't request this. The email from sky said that they were told a new residence were moving in to my address and they set up a new contract with other network provider. I explained it was nothing to do with me and I have no intention of moving out or cancelling my sky contract. They said to stop cancelling procedure and sometimes this happens when the new customer applies a contract online and enter wrong post code or addresses. But they couldn't tell me which network provider asked sky to cancel my contract. I feel this might be a breach of GDPR... Anyway contact the customer service and it's not your fault, it won't be much of problems and no charges at all. Call them ASAP.

I hope this helps a little bit.
