Recently had a Sky engineer to sort a problem; and subsequently recieved a text, asking me what I thought of the service. For some reason, when I tried to post my reply, it wouldn't send it. Shame, because the engineer was well up to his job. He discovered the fault straight away and re-cabled from dish to HD+box, even though it was wet outside and getting dark. Polite, helpful and with a need to keep his customers happy. It's service like this that keeps me tied to Sky. I just wish I could have replied to the Sky text, so they'd know how their engineers are doing.

So today I had to call Sky to cancel my subscription due to financial difficulties. I got through to Frank. I have never received a better service from any representative of a company as what I received from Frank this evening. He was empathetic to our situation and made us aware that he did have options to reduce our bill, but also stated if we can't get a price we were happy with then he could deal with the cancellation. He went through options and during the chat he made us aware of the new Q box and even explained in detail what it would offer. His product knowledge was impeccable and he knew the answers to every question we had for him. He mentioned Netflix and we made him aware we were going to be cancelling our Netflix due to our situation, from there he told us about Netflix through Sky and all the costs and process. Needless to say we have signed up for 18month contract and halved our bill with Sky and also saved on netflix. I happened to mention a call I had with Virgin Media about my internet subscription and had the worst experience ever, he then checked for our internet to see if he could save us there, unfortunately nothing adequate, or I would have brought my internet subscription to Sky To say Frank exceeded all expectations would be an understatement. I hope this reaches Frank's management and Frank himself. Sky you have an agent that hits every area needed and also excels. Frank you sir are credit to your company and the role itself. Hi Had an engineer visit on Saturday (15th) 12-2pm. Just wanted to pass on our thanks to Stu, who was excellent. I'd explained to him on the phone that our Broadband was now working, having been off for well over 48+ hours after the outage was allegedly fixed on Wednesday morning , so wasn't sure if he still needed to come. He said he'd been checking our Broadband speeds and could see there had been issues, so still worth him coming just to check . We were really grateful for this as we had visions of it turning off again! Stu noticed that our speeds weren't as good as they might be, installed a new micro filter and recommended a Booster for downstairs where the signal can fade out sometimes. Well wow, it's made a huge difference! Really improved and much faster. Very impressed by Stu, very helpful and really good at explaining things. He left us to deal with another call on our road (so clearly an issue) and also just to knock on another neighbour who had made an appointment and cancelled it, just to make sure all ok. I would like to thank Terry on the Accessibility Team, for all his help with my account this morning. He committed a lot of his time to getting me the best deal, given my current circumstances, and was careful to explain all the terms and conditions to me. He spoke clearly in plain simple language, was efficient and highly professional and was empathetic througout. He also arranged an appointment for an engineer to call to review our Wifi. With the fall-out of COVID, as human beings, we are often quick to criticise corporate companies, especially call centres. We had an amazing broadband technician that came round to help with our internet issues. He really did go above and beyond with his support and didn't leave until I'd managed to get all the kids devices set up on Wi-Fi, which had been an issue. He stayed late and his wife even called to ask where he was! This chap restored my faith in Sky! My job is all about employer engagement and his customer service skills were outstanding. After having waited 6 months for sky to even connect me after my original order, and many long phone calls (up to 1hour) and many issues where no one in the company had an answer for me or even knew what the problem was... other than incompetence- it only took me 3 mins to cancel! fantastic customer service WHEN LEAVING SKY... extremely TERRIBLE customer service when actually a paying customer!... thanks for the problems. The person I spoke to before wasn't helpful but when I spoke to Drew he carried out a full review of my services, made very useful suggestions based on my answers which I decided to take out and was an absolute pleasure to speak to. Hi. After a less than enjoyable two years with BT for TV, broadband and phone, we decided to take up an account with Sky (we'd had one before, but switched to BT because we mistakenly thought it would save us money and so on). Our first contact was with a person in Sales - sorry I can't recall the name - who very patiently walked us through the process of picking out a suitable package for us. He asked lost of questions, and did a truly impressive job of tailoring a package that would be a good fit for us. His explanations were at all times clear and concise, and he answered our numerous questions in a most professional manner. By the end of the call we were 100% satisfied that we were getting exactly what we wanted to have. The advisor was never pushy, we never felt that we were under any pressure to have this kit or that package - it was all handled very pleasantly. The subsequent stages all went really well.. The engineer turned up promptly, and carried out his task quickly and efficiently. His manner was excellent throughout, and his patience with my stupid questions was considerable! When theinstallation was complete, he cleaned up after himself and then spent time talking us through the operation of our new Sky Q box, with full and clear explanations of all aspects. Next up (and about a week or so later), was the activation of our broadband and mobile packages. At every stage, the process was smooth and professional, no hiccups whatsoever. I had occasion to make a couple of calls to your technical line, but these were to get assistance with something I wasn't sure about, not to rectify an issue. The people I spoke to were, once again, very professional in their conduct of the calls, and their general telephone manner was first class. As of this morning, all aspects of our combined package are up and running, and we are delighted with it all. We really have been impressed, at every turn, by the can-do approach of your colleagues, and by their friendliness, helpful demeanour and general professionalism. Absolutely first class, all the way. I was concerned that I would be charged - one button was 0, for a VIP freebie I had earned, DVD Frieda; another button was for £9. Hi. I was just writing to say about my customer service experience last night. To be honest it was delightful from start to finish. Not only was she brilliant but my God i've never heard a voice as amazing. Could've listened for hour's lol. If you thought the m&s voiceover was good then just imagine better and you'd still be off by a distance!! I did tell her she should be making a fortune voicing audiobooks etc but i think Sky really should use the treasure they have on their hands and give her lot's of voiceover job's. I can't say thank you enough to Derek in the Tech Support Department. We were without internet for 2 weeks, openreach were continiously missing appointments, and unfortunatly every time I contacted Sky I was just given another appointment that just never went ahead. We were not getting any further for 2 weeks until I spoke to Derek, he completely understood the issue and said he would personally keep hold of the case and make sure the appointment went ahead - this was on the Friday, we made another appointment for the Monday and they actually turned up this time! Very thankful that Derek sorted this issue out for us after getting no where for 2 weeks. Not only did he sort the appointment out but he was very helpful explaining the compensation and even let me know that my contract was due to increase next month and sent me a reminder text to call up for a better deal!

I have been a sky customer for 18 years. I rang today to renew my package and also to downgrade it and I spoke to Kevin. Kevin told me I had to continue with my current package and then ring a different number to downgrade. I tried ronsay indisnt want to continue with current package but was told it was the only way it could be done. I then rang the number he advised me to and an absolute angel came on the phone, also known as @Anonymous . Raj bless him not only undid the package that Kevin had set up for me he also managed to do me a deal to get it cheaper. He was very calm, understanding and an absolute gem of a bloke. I have had a really difficult time with SKY since the beginning of July 2022. They have sent a number of engineers out, only to continue to keep sending them out and taking no responsibility for their part of the fault (internet cutting out up to 15 times a day). I asked for a SKY router as this was the only thing left to try and I was at my wits end (not to mention the engineers!) The person that I first spoke to in the complaints department was not helpful, the cancellation man I then spoke to was a little better, but then passed it on to tech, who again was not helpful. I was then sent back to cancellations, with a lady called Samina. Samina was not given any information of the hour long call I had already had, and had not been updated- despite being told by the tech man that I was being put on hold so he could update the colleague before transfering the call. Samina (1DSR11) was AMAZING. She stayed on the call without passing me over to anyone else, she read all the notes, and after others refused to do anything (except for blaiming Open Reach and asking to send out another engineer, despite one coming out the day before and ALSO stating it was the router) she had sent me out a router, provided compensation and removed my termination of contract fee. Then at the end of this easy and simple conversation, she wished me luck for my wedding (which is next week) and let me know the router would be there in 3-5 days, and asked we give it a try and see if it fixes it, as it appears to be the router- something that all other sky persons refused to acknowledge. SKY- you are incredibly lucky to have Samina. I genuinely mean that. I wanted to be heard, and my frustration acknowledged. She did that. thank you Samina (1DSR11)

We rang early in the morning to avoid the queues. Got through to the lovely Crstabel in Tech Support, we rang the wrong number but she was very helpful and put us through to Tejas as we wanted to bring our Sky bill down as our 18mth contract was due to expire. He was amazing and got us to a price we were Very happy with and as we are Diamond customers we saved even more! Can't thank them both enough for their quick and helpful service in a already Very Hot Saturday Morning in Aug 2022! 10/10 for them both!! Talk to you again in 18mths 🥰

I joined the Sky family yesterday, and I have to say while your website is useful, I was unsure about my building and the access that was available. So rather than the website I phoned your sales team, not only did Kameryn walk me through it all, from helping me find what would work best for me, but she out did herself! What a sales personality! She was incredibly kind and patient with me. I cannot thank her enough for making something I was stressing over online, making sure I wasn't giving misinformation, into a conversation with a friend! Absolute massive shout-out goes to my engineer who's been sort of a dedicated enginner to me since I started with sky. been having issues with GigaFast and nobody at sky was listening to me. he came round and saw the issue himself and 2 days later Openreach were booked as they found a fault outside. Amazing service from him. You know who you are ❤️

I did not catch the name of the engineer who came out to my property yesterday for a box issue but he truly is a credit to your organisation. He was very knowledgeable, explained what had happened and resolved the issue very quickly. He had some interesting tales to tell as we were both F1 fans. He made the visit so much more enjoyable. I wish all service personnel across various trades were like him! I do hope you can find my details via my account as I do think he should be told of the positive feedback. Working in complaints and customer service myself, I know that it is rare people pass on compliments.

Problems installing FFTP so it was cancelled by the Openreach Engineer and Craig at Sky. then received an email saying this was going to cost £211 as i was cancelling FTTC super fast braodband. Not happy. Cameron sorted this out very quickly and sent a text confirming this was a glitch. He then also sorted out the sound drop weve experienced for some time.
