Re: How to send Thanks to Sky

I have had a really difficult time with SKY since the beginning of July 2022. They have sent a number of engineers out, only to continue to keep sending them out and taking no responsibility for their part of the fault (internet cutting out up to 15 times a day). I asked for a SKY router as this was the only thing left to try and I was at my wits end (not to mention the engineers!)

 

The person that I first spoke to in the complaints department was not helpful, the cancellation man I then spoke to was a little better, but then passed it on to tech, who again was not helpful. I was then sent back to cancellations, with a lady called Samina. Samina was not given any information of the hour long call I had already had, and had not been updated- despite being told by the tech man that I was being put on hold so he could update the colleague before transfering the call. 

 

Samina (1DSR11) was AMAZING. 

 

She stayed on the call without passing me over to anyone else, she read all the notes, and after others refused to do anything (except for blaiming Open Reach and asking to send out another engineer, despite one coming out the day before and ALSO stating it was the router) she had sent me out a router, provided compensation and removed my termination of contract fee. Then at the end of this easy and simple conversation, she wished me luck for my wedding (which is next week) and let me know the router would be there in 3-5 days, and asked we give it a try and see if it fixes it, as it appears to be the router- something that all other sky persons refused to acknowledge. 

 

SKY- you are incredibly lucky to have Samina. I genuinely mean that. I wanted to be heard, and my frustration acknowledged. She did that.
