With the increasing market share of streaming services, the writing is not yet on the wall for Sky but big changes to their model are inevitable - including their pricing.
Yes, of course: when Sky launched satellite broadcasting in 1989 a 14.4Kbs modem was science-fiction....

Netflix don't have adverts??

Reports suggest that Netflix will launch (unskippable) adverts on their basic tier possibly as soon as November. Also Disney+ are planning to introduce adverts on their existing plans with the option to pay extra to remove.
Personally, I have no issue paying extra to remove ads and have ITV Hub+ and All 4+ as I fully appreciate the cost of content, however do understand why people get annoyed - at least Sky don't have annoying logo's on the screen throughout!

How do people feel after already paying to access the content and having ads inserted?
For a free service, entirely dependent on advertising income, it would be fully expected. For a premium/paid-for service, unless I am mistaken, I am not aware of any other service that charges customers to view/access the content AND still includes advertisements before/during the available programming.
Are there any other paid-for services that do this or is it just Sky?
A similar question was asked recently: https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/What-s-On/Adverts-on-a-subscription-service/td-p/3480672 that answers this question.
