This same thing happened to me! I could hardly get to the end of the program I was watching as it was advert break after advert break. I really feel that the service had become unusable - no, over-exaggeration.

Blimey, I must be lucky. So far I've only had promos at the beginning of a programme, no ads at all. (Touch wood 😁)

Sick of adverts that have now appeared on paramount +. Subscription through Sky but cannot see an option to pay for an upgrade. Has to be done through the platform where you subscribed. Any suggestions pls?

you would have to unsubscribe from sky and go directly through paramount

I would agree if the charge was £3 pcm, that being the difference between ads and no ads. Having no option but to revert to Paramount and pay £7.99 pcm is unfair. Sky needs to address this.

@Dpm27 the wording is included at no extra cost
If Sky wasn't doing the worth £7.99 offer or worth £4.99 offer with Sky Cinema then £7.99 would be the correct amount without ads you would have to pay but you ain't paying £7.99 or £4.99 as it's included at no extra cost with Sky Cinema.
Sky aren't forcing you to keep the ad version as you ain't paying for it
Upgrade the subscription and pay it yourself if you want ad free simple peoples.

When did Paramount plus start having adverts? This seems to have been changed without any notification.

I had a long argument with Sky today saying they have breached the contract I have with them and Paramount is totally unwatchable with constant adds.
I asked to cancel Cinema so I could use the money to upgrade Paramount, that is after I set up a new email address, they said it would cost me £60 as still in contract, even though it's not what I agreed to when I took out the contract..
I renewed Cinema which is crap these days just to keep Paramount Plus, if I was told at the time there would be ads every five minutes I would not have renewed, so this was false advertising and miss selling.so I'm sure we all have a case.
another issue on setting up a new contract direct with Paramount is that all my saved programmes and history will be gone.

It would be classified as mis-selling if they try to sell you Sky Cinema now and claim you get Paramount + with no ads, however when you added Sky Cinema, the paramount + tier changes weren't in-affect so its not exactly mis-selling in this instance.

This is bang out of order by Sky and shows very little concern for customers. However, I am not surprised as Sky has never shown any regard for us. Having enjoyed several series with Paramount I now have them spoiled by constant interruptions. Have stuck with Sky Cinema because of Paramount + being included. No reason to any longer.

Yes I have thanks. Where was the communication to customers. I am sick and tired of paying more for less, like many customers Sky Cinema has only been kept due to Paramount+ being included for free, this was the selling point of my renewal, as I was getting rid, due to the poor selection of films. The Paramount+ package now is not what I signed up for.

I agree with you. With the introduction of adverts, the deal has changed but the cost has not: we, as customers, are paying the same for a service of reduced quality.
As I have said in previous posts, for me the adverts breaks are so frequent that I can not use the service. So I have lost one of the incentives to renew Sky Cinema.
The worst of it is, we are powerless to do anything about it.

I to no longer watch paramount. They have lost a customer so there adverts are a waste on me.
