I notice it is still Cloud recording on Ch5 even though the My5 app launched a while ago ?

Yeah weird that. It even gives you the option to watch the cloud recording or to watch on My5.
I had cloud recorded the Ruby Wax Castaway series and noticed the image quality looked better via the My5 app rather than the cloud recording.

@SlenderRobert I havent had the option of how I want to watch, yes I have noticed when watching something via a cloud recrding rather than app the quality isnt the same ?

If you scroll down below the cloud recording there should be an option to 'Watch on My5' - there was the last time I looked.

I was watching under the dome on my sky glass last week. It didn't take me to the my 5 app. Now that had vanished and keeps taking me to the my 5 app. Its not loading just gives a pin wheel in the middle of the screen. Any advice. I'm not tech savy in the slightest so go easy on me

I tried unplugging it. Still the same. I went into the settings and clicked updates and refresh apps

Couldnt do watch from the start on a Ch5 programme last night also it wouldnt play from my playlist after the show had finished, went to the my5 app and it was fine. I did unplug the tv but it made no difference?

I had the "gadget shop etc" in my playlist, the episode before last worked OK but last Friday's did not although it was available on My5.
Also don't bother to try TCM movies or Great movies as they will not work with the playlist either, so no good for late night films.
I raised a formal complaint about the statements on Sky's website that claimed everything could be put in the play list. No sensible reply except a tenuous admission it does not work.
"Sky are continuously speaking with our content partners and negotiating to try to deliver the best service for our customers. Currently some of our contractual broadcasting agreements mean we cannot broadcast content that can be accessed in any other way than live streaming."

or is this a fault that needs escalating?
I can't try it myself at the moment as I'm in work

I have not tried deleting and adding again, it is worth a try but I dare not touch the TVs at the moment.

Yes that worked, so much for a seemless update, all it needs is for TCM etc being sorted out.
