Another lost recording!!!

so I had the England rugby game set to playlist toda on ITVX.  I came home opened my playlist and started watching the game. I got to halftime and I had to pop out so I switched the TV off and now I've come home and this has disappeared from my playlist. This is the third time this has happened- no I can't watch the game at all as it's not available yet. I am getting sick and tired of Sky Glass I really am.  So many technical issues.
they still have the issue of playback when a broadcast has ended - taking you right back to the start of the programme. They keep saying they're going to fix this but it's been going on for months.

@Christiano888

As you've mentioned having Glass I've moved your post from the Sky Q board.

Why don't you just open the ITV X app directly to watch the show.

ITV X in particular doesn't have the best integration with the playlist as usually the shows on ITV X are missing the required metadata which means they don't appear at all on the playlist or they don't appear as expected ( I.e labelled with an incorrect season/episode number).

Re: Another lost recording!!!

Opening the itvx app directly still doesn't have the option to watch it, only 5 mins of highlights!!!

I'm with the first replier, getting very frustrated with Sky Glass and the issues surrounding it. When my contract is up I will be seriously debating to go back to Sky Q and to be able to record programmes which I will be able to watch at a later date!!!

I can see it on ITV X. Go to the sport section and under Fresh In, they have not only highlights shows but also the full game replays.

Re: Another lost recording!!!

Thank you for replying where to find it on ITVX. My partner has just finished setting up the projector and laptop to watch it that way and I have just come in with your suggestion🤣 I found it and now watching👍

Re: Another lost recording!!!

Here’s a revised version of your forum rant with a sharper and more impactful tone:

**What’s the point of Sky Glass playlists if you can’t actually watch the shows you’ve saved?** I’m genuinely baffled that this is the level of service Sky thinks is acceptable. They’ve marketed Sky Glass as a *streaming* TV—yet somehow, it can’t even stream the shows we want to watch. How does that make any sense?

@JethroMeyer

'Permanent' local recording isn't a natural law: it was a feature enabled by VCRs and then DVRs through a limited exemption to copyright intended to facilitate time-shifted viewing of material distributed on linear broadcast channels.  That era is now coming to a close and the content rights owners are reasserting their control, which is going to require some readjustment on the part of consumers.
