@AndyG999 There's an update QS035 being rolled out atm due to be fully rolled out by 25th March. Users in Germany have reported it fixing it for them, but we've not heard from Sky if it's expected to fix things in the UK. Keep an eye on this thread for updates.

Since December 2024 on sports channels and movies the lip syncing is always out . I reset tv more often to short term fix this issue but it's really annoying now especially when you receive a letter saying the costs of your package is going up! Over two years no issues now constant with this one. Been reading it's a big sky are working on but it does not seem to get fixed, which you would think they would have before rolling out gen 2 sky glass! Sky you need to sort it out or not put the prices up but off discounts for interrupting the flawless viewing services we pay for

To be honest I have the latest firmware, and have tried different settings on my router, even when I was inbetween 2 internet providers, both internet services were affected with lip sync on my glass and puck. Although Sky Go works fine through my AppleTV.
I've still got my complaint in with Sky and I get monthly call backs on the issue from Sky, but to be honest it isn't good enough.
Customers are still affected by this bug which has existed since late October 2024.
4-5 months on and the problem still not fixed, trust me if I had another provider to go to I would have been gone, but Sky know they hold the monopoly over some customers and I don't think it's a priority fix for them, as not all customers are affected.

I naively thought the latest update fixed it. But it is as bad as ever. Sound going off in minutes when watching the Champions League.
This needs a proper fix, Sky \o/

I submitted a complaint was contacted by sky they said they were working on it and would contact me in two weeks that was three weeks ago, still having lip sync problems and bills are going up

After months and months it's still horrendous on Sky Sports / TNT Sports. If the next update QS035 doesn't fix it then it's obviously a serious deep rooted issue!

Rant incoming... What are your spending the money on, Sky? We're paying fortunes in subscription fees and all you're doing to fix a terrible broadcast service is pushing the odd and rare "fix" to customers that doesn't change anything. What's written the complete radio silence in this half year long problem?

Posted by a Sky employeeHi Everyone
We are aware that some Sky Glass and Sky Stream customers are experiencing issues with lip sync. We understand how frustrating this can be and are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. We assure you that our engineers are working diligently to resolve the problem.
We are rolling out a software update, QS35, which has further improvements. This update is a gradual rollout and will continue over the coming weeks.
Thank you for your patience and for providing further feedback, to help us improve your experience.
I'll be marking this reply as the answer to the thread so more people see it.

It was so exciting to watch the F1 with Lip sync issues, thanks Sky for your continued excellent service, I think you should put the prices up again to reward yourselves on such a quality service, well done!
