Discovery plus - new contract?

Hi, I am thinking of signing up to Discovery plus which is free. I am currently on a Sky Q package which is coming to an end soon. Does anyone know if registering Discovery Plus extends my contract, or initiates a new cintract, because I wouldn't want this to happen. T&c are far too complicated to understand either way. Thanks.

Discovery+ is 'free' for the duration of your Sky contract.

 

Using it will not extend your Sky contract.
