Sky Price package Deals 2025. but slowest FF75 costs the same as Full Fibre 300 ???
‎19 Jan 2025 05:10 PM
I am a Sky Customer since 2013, im supposedly classed as a "Platinum customer", which is corporate speak for a mug they can over charge because im loyal?
Lets look at the issues I would like Sky staff to explain.
As a new customer you can get the same sky packages for half the price, and not just as special offers but cheaper full price monthly bills. (on occassions)
Take for example my own package,
Sky Superfast Broadband, + Talk anytime with my landline. total billing per month = £43 + £16 total = £59pm current guaranteed speeds of 75mb, (When I first signed up it was guaranteed over 100 before changes)
Now lets take a look at the Brodband packages they try to hide from view once your logged in as a customer.
the current listed packages are ,
Full Fibre 75, - intro offer, £26pm 24 month contract, then £43pm full price. ----- Same price?
Full Fibre 100, - intro offer, £35pm 24 month contract, then £38pm full price.
Full Fibre 150, - intro offer, £27pm 24 month contract, then £40pm full price.
Full Fibre 300, - intro offer, £29pm 24 month contract, then £43pm full price. ---- Same price?
Full Fibre 500, - intro offer, £33pm 24 month contract, then £46pm full price.
Full Fibre 900, - intro offer, £43pm 24 month contract, then £49pm full price.
Can anybody from Sky explain HTF you can charge the same pricings for two packages, the slowest at 75 and the same cost for 300 ? a whole 225 mbs difference in speeds and not anybody from Sky to explain or even say "hey your getting ripped off better to upgrade for cheaper" and save money.
I have tried on multiple occasions to talk with Sky customer service to sort this out, and the sales people just keep trying to say they dont have authority to offer pricings, (Indian call centre staff) they always say theyl speak with their line managers and get back to me, which never happens.
Every sky customer knows, their going to get yearly price hikes regardless based off consumer price index, (which in reality is mafia style price gouging year on year by monoplolistic corporate cartels) But justify how you can charge the same dam price for your now slowest package and your FF 300 package ???
