Hi,
I recently renewed our broadband package at a price of £28 and am being charge £35.50, set to increase to £39.50 from April?
The agreed product and contract was £28 per month, locked in for 18 months and have the email to prove that.
Please help.
Thanks,
Kirby Welch

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThe terms and conditions you agreed to at renewal allow for Sky to increase prices once in any 12 month period. Your contract is not at a fixed price but the discounts are. However that does seem a large increase. Perhaps compare a recent bill to a future bill.

Initial bills can be a little higher than monthly amount as they cover a period longer than 1 month (and possibly one off charges). But £39.50 does sound too high, even with forthcoming increases.

Most contracts are not fixed price - although, there were some offers with price guarantees. What exactly does the email say?

I have the same issue. I am currently trying to resolve it with them but it is prooving to be very slow. They agreed £28 (£39.50- £11.50 discount). I am only getting £5 discount so being chanrged £34.50 which is not what I agreed. Prices will go up at the start of April but that is a sepearte thing.
