I have had a significant issue relating to Sky Broadband, which I will not go into here, save to say that it has been on-going since February 2021, and I almost left Sky because of it after a 17 year custom. My biggest gripe is around the sheer number of Sky customer service representatives I spoke to who promised to take ownership of my case, and then let me down by not following up with the issue. I became so incredibly exasperated having to explain the situation from scratch to so many different Sky representatives, time and time again. That is until I got through to Mark Mullan @mmn42. Mark is hands-down, no contest whatsoever the most helpful, friendly and professional person I have ever spoken to from Sky in all my years as a customer. Mark did exactly what he said he was going to do, he took ownership of my case and got back to me on the many occasions he had said he was going to. He persevered relentlessly with efforts to resolve the problem and ensured that I was compensated accordingly for the time I had spent speaking to so many of his colleagues over the months. Mark Mullan went above and beyond for me. He is someone who truly understands the importance of ensuring the customer feels understood and listened to - a lesson many of his colleagues would benefit from - and is genuinely the only reason why I remain a Sky customer. I very much hope that Mark Mullan @mmn42 will be commended by Sky for his extremely hard and valuable work. Just wanted to leave a good phone call review. Not sure where I can give ratings on this website. I made a phone call to Sky support and it was about linking my account and how to purchase the deals on Sky TV and Broadband. One of the kind and friendly operators put me through to Chris from Yorkshire and he was a big help, wonderful to have great customer support and he was really friendly, polite and helpful. Very informative on building my Sky package and he was great help on giving me the deals and services Sky provides. Chris was also straight to the point and very friendly and helpful to talk me through it, asking how my day was and how well I was doing and talking to me about all the details and was very patient. Overall great person to be on the phone to, would love to give Chris a 10/10 rating! Thank you lots!

When we are so quick to complain it`s always nice to be able to leave positive feedback and I really wanted to say a huge thank you to Jake, a Sky engineer from Bridgend in South Wales who came to fit a new Sky Q box today 14th June to upgrade us from Sky + HD.. I had pre-warned customer services about the current location of the old Sky dish being on the wall above our sloping apex ground floor extension and when Jake arrived he said due to Health and Safety regs. he would be unable to put ladders on the roof due to the raised apex.. My wife and I were gutted but Jake spent quite some time looking for a location he could install the new dish and also after some options given to me on how to progress it became apparent a new location on a side wall was feasable. He spent quite a while ensuring there would be a good signal prior to fixing the dish and new LNB to the wall and running cable into the house from the roadside.. He was so pleasant throughout his visit and nothing was too much trouble.. He is a credit to Sky...a lot of people I know would simply have said it could not be done and to cancel the upgrade, but Jake went above and beyond to ensure we could upgrade to Sky Q...;. Writing this in behalf of my mum, who is the account holder, to say a huge thank you to a guy called Trevor from the "welfare" team. My mum's Nowtv" phone line broke and she's very vulnerable and uses an alarm system linked to the phone. As soon as sky were aware of her issues it was quickly escalated to Trevor to sort things out. Hello I would like to say a massive thank you to the advisor Callum I chatted to today (11thJune), it was through the sky accessibility chat. He was incredibly professional polite and friendly, he explained things easily for me to understand (I usually get confused easily). And reinstated my service after I previously had issues. It was a life saver my son who has autism visually impaired night blindness as well as a number of other health problems uses Google hub for independence to turn lights on he talks to it to send me messages if he can't get out of bed and if he's scared he talks to it to calm him, with my services being restricted he couldn't do any of this, I weren't able to pay my bill until 15th so as a good will gesture he reinstated it early. I really weren't expecting it I was close to tears from the kind gesture. I would love him to be noticed for this by his manager as people like him make sky so much better.

We had to ring back in after previously dealing with another staff member who messed up our package and left us without most of the channels we watch despite advising us nothing would change. I would just like to thank the amazing Scot one t or 2 t Scott from Newcastle who dealt with my switch to sky mobile today, a polite and very knowledgeable young man who broke up the monotony of the call by doing various accents(which I asked him to do as I was bored) some of which were quite good. I was having real bad issues with my wifi and @Connor helped so well as I wasn't to sure what to do he gladly talked with my partner to try and resolve the issue re assuring that if the steps they were taking didn't work he would schedule a engineer he managed to solve the issue for us and our wifi has been brilliant since, So I want this thread to be passed on to his management and make him aware that he is doing a brilliant job and show gratitude to the employees patience to keep the sky customers happy I fully understand most people give them a hard time due to the effort of being able to contact a human instead of a io KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK CONNOR!

I had been experiencing issues with my broadband internet for months, which on the day had been much worse, and he very efficiently and professionally helped me out - including getting an engineer booked free-of-charge due to the nature of the (terribly unreliable) internet service my flatmates and I had been receiving from Sky. I really hope this feedback reaches the right department. George, the Sky engineer who made a visit to our house today went over and above to resolve our technical issues. George called in advance of the visit to run through the Covid checks and to understand more about the issues, enabling him to arrive fully prepped for the work. Cheery and helpful, right from the off. On inspection he found a number of areas he was not happy with in relation to the cabling and previous works. He set about correcting the previous works and essentially ended up removing and replacing all the old cabling. He could have easily chosen to take a short cut and patch up the work. He could have also been totally forgiven for doing this had he so been inclinded, as the rain, hail, thunder and lightening would have been more than enough to make most people run to their van but he continued regardless. In addition to the cabling, he replaced the old dish and LNB, finding further areas of concern that he repaired or replaced. The result is that we now have near perfect signal strength and all the issues we had previously experienced have been resolved. Oh, and all this without a single complaint, friendly conversation and with the clear aim of just wanting to do a job properly. Did I mention he also kindly cleared the gutters next to where he was working as the terrential rain was pouring over the side. I want to say a massive thank you to George and I hope the management teams at Sky recognise his customer service contributions and his diligence in completing a job properly.

I had an absolute gent of guy install my sky this week and I'm annoyed I didn't get asked for feedback because I wanted to give him the highest praise. The guy was not only friendly but he went out of his way in a way my words can't do justice but I'll try. He was so careful about where he installed the dish and I had to be specific because of my landlord. He took it in his stride with no issues. He then found my hoover and hoovered up after drilling through the wall (no other sky person has ever done this before and this is just the tip of the ice berg) , he then rearranged my furniture to have my tv somewhere actually viewable in my room, without even having to ask me, he then helped me do some prelimery checking for when I got my broadband installed. This guy deserves a bloody promotion just for being so friendly, respectful, helpful and just an all round decent human being let alone an employee of sky. If I could I'd send him a bottle of something just to thank him! What a guy!

Last Saturday we had SkyQ installed. we had a slot booked for Saturday no specific time. Just before 8am Jason called to say he would be with us within 20minutes. He was. He then did a wonderful install job, very neat and tidy, very courteous as well. Nothing was too much trouble and he set up our SkyQ and Mini box and explained everything. Thanks to Shane. Spoke to Shane yesterday as my Q main box stopped responding and the remote didn't work. Went through the reset process a few times and tried the remote reset process a few times as well but nothing would work. Needed the tv for the GP this weekend after a tough couple of weeks at work. I really struggle with phone calls due to mental health issues(especially ones like that) and he was so down to earth and easy to talk to that I forgot I was on the phone to sky 😆 I haven't received a feedback text but if I had I'd rate 10/10 I really hope this gets back to him and his managers because he's a credit to the service and deserves at least a chocolate bar if not a raise 😜 😀

Nearly 20 years ago my late husband joined Sky and he was always the contact person. Six years ago when I was widowed I became the only contact (may I say I will be 80 in two days) we always found everyone we had contact with were very polite and helpful. The times I have been in touch with Sky since I have been on my own has been a very pleasant experience. Absolutely everyone has been exceptionally helpful, polite, understanding of an ageing brain and have gone out of their way over and beyond their call of duty to help me and resolve any problems. Hiya, I was helped yesterday by a lovely lady, I was expecting a feedback form but nothing came and I just wanted to express how thankful I was for her help. I called at 17:19 and was on hold for about half an hour, which is expected at the moment. I was trying to cancel a sky subscription that was in my name, but at an address I hadn't been at for a year due to a breakup. I wasn't aware I was the account holder and was quite upset on the call, she calmed me down and waived the cancellation fee as a gesture of goodwill. Hi I'm really hoping someone from Sky read this. I just wanted to send a HUGE thank you to Darren in the cancellations team! After 2 VERY lengthy phone calls and unfortunately idiotic advisors (5 prior to Darren) I was put through to the lovely, chirpy Scottish man that helped me within 5 minutes! He listened, understood and sorted the problems very effectively and fairly! Give this man a bonus or a raise because he definitely stood out amongst all other advisors! I was approximately 5 minutes away from cancelling and moving to another provider because I'd been left so frustrated prior to being put through to Darren. thanks again, you're a superstar!!!

Hi there Just wanted to say thank you to the 2 gentlemen I spoke to who helped resolve my longterm unstable Sky TV with an upgrade to SkyQ, very easily co-ordinated, and saved me money on this upgrade and also changing to Sky mobile. Hi! I contacted sky today as my billing had gone up, I didn't realise my subscription deal had ended. I spoke to a wonderful lady who was so kind and helpful. I think I was meant to stay on the phone to complete a survey but I had hung up as I thought it was going to come in the e-mail. I would just like to thank her for her help today. It was very quick and easy. As a paramedic working through the COVID pandemic the last thing I needed was hours negotiating a new deal. I think her name was Justine!

My 18 month contract was due for renew and options given on website was not what I was after. So called 150 and after faffing with options got thru' to cancellations with no wait. Talked to the lovely Kay, explained that I did not need evening/weekend calls and she got my package down to £73, a saving of £8 a month on what I have been paying and £13 less than renew option was. Quick service and saved some money, fantastic.😃

Massive thanks to the super helpful gentleman whom I spoke with yesterday evening re my broadband issue. Ryan responded quickly and was very reassuring and pleasant to speak with. I managed to get through to the customer service straight away and my engineer came the next afternoon and quickly resolved the issue.
