Hi,
I have recently bought the AC2100 in hopes to replace my skyhub. However, I have been unsucessful. I am constantly getting no internet when I am doing the quick step. I followed the steps I found in other pages but no luck.
I am on the sky broadband superfast and I have an openreach box too.
Any help/ suggestions would be appreciated
Thank you

Ok that a fibre optic modem. Therefore you'll need to follow the instructions below to bypass the tp link modem and authenticate via dhcpv6 prefix delegation
1. Connect the network cable from the FTTP wall box to port 4 (labelled LAN/WAN)
2. Login to the router and click advanced at the top.
3. Click Operating Mode and change to "Wireless Router Mode" press "Save"
4. Once ready, while on the "Advanced" setting again, go to "Network" -> "Internet"
5. You will see an empty table, click "Add" in the top right above said table
6. Change Internet Connection Type to "Dynamic IP"
7. Ensure IPv4 remains ticked.
8. Tick IPv6 (wont be selected at the moment)
9. Do not clone mac
10. Press Save
11. Wait, it can take a minute or two but should eventually show connected.
12. Enjoy a better wireless experience

With the later the modem is redundant

Hi. Is this the router you are using? Has it completely replaced your Sky hub? https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/dsl-modem-router/archer-vr2100/

That would have an 80% chance of working as described . You'd be better looking at the asus rt ax range of wifi 6 routers if it doesn't work

What broadband service do you have from Sky? The VR2100 worked without issue when I used it to replace my Sky Hub when I was using Sky's FTTC connection.
If you have an FTTP connection, then heed @cookiemonsteruk comments above.

Would the Asus RT-AX52 do the job of replacing the SR203 hub?

To complicate things ultrafast 1 runs both over copper (g.fast) and full fibre. Do you have one of these
