Constant loss of wifi, constant loss of sky q Internet connection and same on the mini boxs

Every single day for the last 6 months the wifi drops in and out. Its on all devices, the main sky q box and all the mini box's completely loose connection with the main box. It connects for a few seconds then drops again on off for 5 mins then reset the box and sometimes it fixs it sometimes it doesn't. It tends to happen throught the day but mainly around 7pm then again at 11pm. The sky mini boxes sometimes won't reconnect to the main box even after going into the settings and resetting it meaning they can't be watched in the evenings at all. All the lights are always green on the router and the same on the booster

Ours is doing the same thing.

Will wait to see if you get an answer or I will be phoning sky and perhaps looking for a new supplier.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Deanooooooooooo & @Sirena2Day if you have a black Sky hub the Q boxes act as wifi repeaters issues but.where connectivity back to the hub is poor a slight increase in interferenceccan cause the symptoms you report. As people invest in better more powerful homecwifi this issue can increase and drops of connectivity at peak timescare a frequent indication.

Skky should either send out an engineer or supply boosters if Q boxes are loosing connection if you call them.
