FW.IPv6 INPUT drop , 553 Attempts

Hi I own sky wifi hub and sky wifi mixed copper (telephone socket) is normal adsl my velocity is 10mbs and 1.2 mbs (I have the cabin live from home 1.7km away)

lately My internet connection keeps dropping, falls for a few seconds and then it starts working again.

sometimes even 7 or 10 times a day.

In my sky wifi hub in log firewall I noticed these messages:

FW.IPv6 INPUT drop , 553 Attempts, 2025/2/27 15:18:30 / Firewall Blocked

FW.IPv6 FORWARD drop , 12 Attempts, 2025/2/27 15:01:36 / Firewall Blocked

I'm sure that I have no attacks on my devices.

I tried disabling firewall, insert a modem in cascade.

but the line always drops.

Now can i try to disable ipv6 and I can see if this way I solve the problem of continuous disconnection.

My sky wifi hub is color black and I don't think I can change firmware or similar.

Can you help me?

@francescolocor disabling IP6 wont solvecan isduecwhere tge modem in the hub is losing the connection to the line. Very long lines often develop faults. If you post your hubs connection stats it should be possible to see what is going on see Sky Hub statistics

@francescolocor copper lines can be decades old and things deterioate due to age and corrosion, bad weather causes damage or an engineer working on another line causes an issue on yours.

Ok I agree with you.

Is ok you are right.

But you don't believe that it's strange that the date and the time of that message it's the same when the line goes down??
