Seems to be a common problem but all the forums don't offer much as to a resolution. I'm in Ireland and with my sign up deal was offered a €50 gift card. I have recieved 2 emails suggesting I will miss out on my card offer as it has a 90 day period expiry date on it, advsing me to claim my reward via a link. When I click the link it brings me to an error page. Its been over 45 days since I signed up, I've called sky directly twice and got two different excuses but no resolution, one said it was a technical diffficulty and would be resolved in a day or two and the other said I had to wait a little longer. However neither seemed too bothered to try to help me and I really felt they were fobbing me off as they couldn't explain the error messsge. I was warned by family that had issues with sky about signing up and I'm beginning to understand why. Has anyone else got their promised sign up gift? How do I speak to someone who won't just fob me off?

Just an update to anyone struggling with the same issue. Sky chat was able to inform me I should have had the card on my account by the 22nd of January. Ad it hadn't arrived I was told to contact the card supplier, so basically sort it out for myself. Edenred are the company who supply the cards. I was given a link to their website, a website which is difficult to navigate with a few dead end pages, and an email address. I contacted Edenred via an online submission page on their website, via the email from Sky and then found another email for their help desk to use myself after a bit of research, this seems to be the email that they responded to. Sky won't allow me to link it here though. Edenred have emailed me to say that the card will be issued within 28 days. Given my 'deadline' to use the card is 90 days from my sky account activation I may or may not get it in time to use it anyway. So we'll watch this space. When I went on to Edenreds facebook there are numerous complaints of issues similar to mine. I'm glad they responded to my mails and the sky chat employee 'Ciara' was helpful to the point that they could be. I think however Sky would do well to change card providers or be prepared to contact them with issues rather than expecting the customer to do it themselves. My contract is with Sky not Edenred.
