To whom it may concern,
My mother Ann Ayres, who is currently in hospital, has given me, her son, permission to try sort this mess.
She has been hit with a bill of 177euro and she doesnt even have a sky account anymore. It was cancelled last year. How can she have a bill of the ammount and not even have an account. She doesnt think she should pay it, but i need you to explain it to me.

It might relate to a final unpaid bill or possibly a charge for failing to return Sky's equipment. Assuming you have suitable authorisation and can pass Sky's security procedures, you would need to discuss it directly with them.

You are not addressing Sky here - just other customers.
See this link in terms of account permission: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/third-party-assistance

did she receive written confirmation from sky accepting the cancellation normally via email
without the confirmation the likelihood is the account wasn't cancelled correctly
