It says on my sky tv and broadband account its been paid and nothing owed for this month, , but according to my bank account nothing has been lifted yet, direct debit due date of payment was 28/12/2024

The 28th December was a Saturday so the payment itself is not taken at the weekend or a bank holiday so you account should update tomorrow or Tuesday at the latest to show that it has been taken. Your Sky account will say that the payment has been made when the process has started.
