Mesh WiFi - putting Sky router into modem only mode

Hi all, I've just installed an eero mesh WiFi system to boost the coverage in my house and it works like a treat, the only problem I'm having is putting the sky router into modem mode or at the very least disabling the WiFi. It allowed me to diable the 5GHz band, but when I try to disable the 2.4 GHz and "Apply", I get a blank page and an error saying "Safari can't open this page" - seems to be an issue with the routeR?

@Timberflake if you have Sky Q tv boxes they will continue to broadcast the Sky SSID as thst is the way Sky Qminis connect. Trying to use a third party mesh system with Q boxes is possible but it can get complicated.

@Timberflake  Best to access the hub using ethernet cable as doing it over wifi is fruitless.

@Timberflake  Make sure the device you are using isn't defaulting to wifi.  Maybe turn wifi off on that device?  If that doesn't help can you try another browser?

So using Chrome it's allowed me to disable the WiFi access point for both 2.4 and 5GHz, I've also disabled broadcasting the SSID, but the WiFi network is still showing in the list of available networks??

@Timberflake  If they are disabled they should drop oof the list.

@Timberflake

Note that Sky Hubs do not have a modem only mode: you can switch off WiFi and DHCP, but they will always act as a router.
