I cannot install SKYLGYDC on laptop

I am a new user and have spent 4 hours trying to install.  I have installed on my Windows 7 PC and it works.  I cannot install on my XP Pro laptop.  If I do the usual it tests and fails the configuration saying 'failed to get the wireless settings'.

If I copy the PC  configuration settings onto a USB  flash drive and create a profile in XP it still doesn't function after a restart.

Can anyone advise.  Is there a chat or email helpline as I am deaf and cannot use the phone?

Re: I cannot install SKYLGYDC on laptop

When I went back to the laptop after resetting I was logged in on SKY!

Thanks for the help.  I suspect that I had misread the password when doing it on the laptop and typed in a 1 when it was an i.  My eyes aren't that good and when they hide what you are typing without an option to show it it is easily done:)

@SillyBilly1  You don't "install" anything on your laptop, if you're not using ethernet then you connect over wifi.

BTW XP is well out of date now and needs to be updated.

@SillyBilly1

All you need to do is to get your laptop to search for all the wireless networks then select SKYLGYDC from the list that comes up:

@SillyBilly1  You shouldn't need to create anything on the laptop, if it has built in wifi you should see a wifi connector icon or access the network settings to find the relevant wifi signal.
