Installation Date

Ordering Sky (FTTP and Sky Q) and pushing installation date out as far as can.

Is the date I am selecting the date of the broadband or the date of the TV starting just so I can ensure BT dont cut me off before it.

@aberdeen19032012You will find that the dates for installation of your TV and broadband are different dates. The broadband is all down to when the outside work can be complete and then the inside work to be done.

The Sky Q install might be quicker done and with you already having broadband in place will have no effect on you being to take advantage of all the services on offer with Sky Q.

Re: Installation Date

Thank you so If I selected for example 23rd January as install date (last  date can select to be as close to BT contract ending) this date would be what then.. broadband install I take it. I don't want it done any earlier even though There is no work to be done. Have 900 FTTP openreach already running via BT would really be a simply change over,  just really want to know the date sky will take over the line Would it be the date I pick as install date as can't afford down time.

I just want the black friday offering whilst pushing it as close to 10th Feb I can my exit date with BT.

So I guess install date for end Jan would be when broadband goes live. I also seen they said they will inform BT so I can I suppose check with BT what date they were given. 🙂

@aberdeen19032012You also do know that you are able to pay off what you owe to BT and get this back with Switch credit from Sky. More information about this can be found in the link below.
