Or under "Need more help ?" at the bottom this page is the number to call, it might take a few seconds to appear, if you are in Ireland make sure the flag in the bottom right is changed to the ROI so you see an 0818 number:
Just ignore the messages at the start of the call and remain on the line for as long as you can and don't hang up when asked to do so.

I am having similr issue to most here. I've swapped from three but my iMessage and Facetime stopped working. I tried to change the number manually in the phone setting but it keeps reverting back to what was my temporary number from Sky. I have also tried taking out sim and restarting. It keeps saying 'waiting for activation' for the number and will only text from my Apple ID. Any assistance would be greatfully appreciated.

My temporary number is still showing in imessages and face time on my iphone even though I followed instructions given. Can anyone advise please? I have checked with my previous provider and they confirmed the port has gone through corretly.

Same issue. Waited on call with sky for over an hour and no answer. Wish I had of stayed with EE now. Still not resolved. What did you all get told "if" you got through to talk to someone

I have the same problem - ported over from o2 today - i can make calls and texts plus use data - but i cannot recieve calls, texts or activate imessages
I have manually added my number to profile, i have rebooted about 10 times, removed and readded sim - i am at a loss - Help please

Yeh I'm getting sick of this now. Going to call them again and they can have their phone and SIM card back. Going to move all my other services too...tv, broadband etc cos I'm that fed up with try this try that! I desperately need to receive sms messages not just iMessage due to circumstances and no one seems to be helping at Sky

Hi there @Rich+-+iphone12 I would try signing out of both iMessage and FaceTime, waiting 5 minutes and then sign back in. Reboot your device and if possible make a test call to your number to see if it now works 🙂
To sign out of iMessage and Facetime follow the steps below.
Go to Settings > Messages and make sure that iMessage is on. You might need to wait a moment for it to activate.
Tap Send & Receive. If you see “Use your Apple ID for iMessage,” tap it and sign out
Then go to Settings > FaceTime, select your Apple ID and tap Sign Out

@dmy24 thanks for advice - i have tried this and still doesnt work unfortunately - i have also singed out of icloud and now cant get back in as i cant recieve a text to confirm my ID

Great! SMS issue seems to have been sorted but now my FaceTime and iMessage doesn't work!! Tried all advice from Apple and sky and still no resolution. Absolute pure joke!!!!! Guys don't switch your phone to sky

Yep I'm having same issue.
there was a delay in porting my phone number over from old provider to sky. However the port completed earlier today.
however, iMessage and FaceTime doesn't work.
move spent the entire day trying to sort this out. Every tip and guide has been read and nothing works. I just get error messages for both and won't connect. Never had an issue before on previous network only now since joining sky.
the fact that so many people on here has the same issue and it's not been resolved is really worrying 😔
