Mobile Data cuts off randomly

My data cuts out at random times especially when I come off a call. It's not a case of no reception - if I go into to flight mode and turn off flight mode, it restores the data. Has anyone had this experience? If so how did you resolve it. I have an oppo Reno 5g.
