I've recently placed an order for the MacBook Air on the £24 per month contract and £2 upfront charge. However I have noticed instead of the £2 upfront charge I have paid £122 upfront. Is there a reason to this it was advertised a £2 upfront charge for warning of it changing when paying.

But if you've paid a larger initial instalment then the monthly charges will be lower.

Sounds like you have just passed their criteria and have an increased upfront payment. A call to sky will confirm why.
