Sky Broadband Upgrade...

I started trying to upgrade my bb to the 150Mb/s fibre service in Nov 22 when my current contract expired. This didn't happen, I can't remember why. I tried again in early March but when tracking my order on the MySky app, I got the msg; "Sky Broadband engineer visit Action required It appears there's been an issue with your order Please contact us to get your order back on track". I contacted Sky again early this month and the lady said that she needed to speak with the Open Reach engineers and she would call me back on Easter Sunday. Credit where its due, she called me back and she went through the bb order process whilst I was on the phone. She confirmed that everything was fine and the order had gone through. An engineer is due on the 24th April but the tracker on the MySky app is still showing the same "There's been a problem..." msg as above since Sunday. Should I be concerned about my order being fulfilled? And should I contact Sky yet again?

Re: Sky Broadband Upgrade...

Hi and thanks for getting back to me. Picture attached as suggested.

The message on the website is still the same and I've heard no more from Sky since Easter Sunday. At the moment I'm just waiting til Friday to see if Openreach turn up!

Thanks again, Paul

@Gooner1968  If you are to have outside work done then to install a CSP which is pictured below. That notice might be there for sometime.

Could you fill out the form in the link below and post a screenshot hiding the private information in the top--left corner and the forum can take a look to see if this might be the possible hold up in the order.

@Gooner1968 if an engineer appointment has been scheduled then you can probably ignore the message I had a similar issue when my own fibre line was being run. The delay is down to the shortage of Openreach teams doing the work which often requires several stages. There appears little Sky can do to hurry the process and both they and the customer need to be patient until Openreach get round to finishing the job.
