Sky stopped me making a payment

I tried to make a payment using the app. But when I tried to use it it says that my bill was not ready and I couldn't pay. Now I'm told that I owe £89 in arrears.

You shouldn't need to make manual paynents. Sky require you to have a direct debit or automated monthly  card payment.

It is in the terms and conditions that you need to have a payment method setup so do you have something set up on your account ?

Yes but they keep saying that my bill is not ready. If the bill is not ready yet then I cannot pay it.

As explained, you shouldn't need to ,manually pay it. You should have an automated payment set up. Sky will then take payment on your normal payment date.
