Renew Sky contract - April price increase

My sky contract finishes in April as I have given notice of cancellation as my out of contract price had a significant increase.

Had a call today from retentions dept that I would have accepted but he wasn't able to tell me whether my cost would increase with the planned April price increase. i.e. was it todays price or the price taking into account April price increase. He said he couldn't see the price increase on his system.

I have read conflicting opinions on line. Now of course he should have known, anyone have any experience or information on this?
