Looking for cheap package for elderly dad
Hi,
I'm trying to find some prices for my elderly dad so he can switch over from VM who are ripping him off.
I have put some items in the basket but home phone was missing. Started again, found landline then found out broadband wasn't included (how can he buy a telly package without broadband?) so had to start again.
Can someone direct me towards a cheap package that included basic telly with one extra 'PUCK' so mum can watch her soap upstairs, cheap broadband and home phone with his number carried over and 'talk any time' please?
Thank you.

Re: Looking for cheap package for elderly dad
@Shaz60 Your best option is to give sky a call
Click on the need more help drop down at the very bottom of the link below to reveal an 0333 number if your in uk
If in ROI using the same link change the flag in bottom right hand corner and refresh the link before following above instructions to reveal an 0818 number
https://www.sky.com/help/home#M1014
or if you have sky mobile/talk call 150 Calls to Sky Customer Services from your Sky Talk landline phone or a Sky mobile are free
The start will be automated which may try to send you here to the forum or suggest you receiving a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. If necessary say nothing when the automated system asks you what your call is about as it should then route your call into a queue for the next available agent.

Unless you plan on being the Sky account holder at the address you may find that Sky will want to speak directly to your Dad.

Re: Looking for cheap package for elderly dad
Unlike Virgin (and EE), Sky subscription television is not tied to a Sky Broadband product.
'Basic' television plus an additional screen is either Sky Television Essentials on Sky Q with Multiscreen, or Sky Essential TV on Sky Stream with Whole Home.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
