I have now located the viewing card which was in the side of the box. There are 2 numbers on this card:-
However when I put these numbers into this message I got a red warning message back instantly saying you block information that can identify us. How do I get hold of someone to fix this problem which has been going on since 27th February and your engineers visit on 20th March,
The main number on the card is Seven Four Zero Three Five Two Four Eight Nine

I am suddenly getting an error message saying my card is not authorised
Some months ago Sky were due to fit a sky Q box so sent a new card. When they came to fort they couldn't fit the box so I am still using the sky plus box.
I was instructed to destroy the sky q viewing card which i did.
Do I now need to order a new card and if so how do i do that?

Can someone please help me.I had a new Sky+box installed on12-2-2020 and all worked fine until 2 weeks ago. I am getting the message viewing card not authorized now and cannot get anything other than Free View nchanels.I 2have tried calling numerous times but no replies. I have been isolated for 4 weeks asI am vulnerable (having had cancer twice and a heart attack. I am 64 years old. I am useless with technology and am worried that if I try to rectify things I will make matters worse. I cannot afford to pay for a service that I am not receiving.

similar issues have happened on my grandads sky+ box after working perfectly fine for years.
i have noticed that when trying to pair the viewing card again, the viewing card is different t to the one he has in the box sumo it won't allow me to do it
Any help appreciated? He's 84 and can't do much with technology

Just to let you know, my replacement viewing card arrived this morning and is now working fine in my Sky+HD box. Many thanks for your prompt assistance in this matter 👍

We are suddenly getting 'this viewing card is not authorised' message. We are not expecting a sky Q viewing card as we haven't upgraded. I've tried turning the box off and back on and trying to link the viewing card to the box although I don't know why we should need to do this as had the same card and box for 5 plus years. I've tried calling sky but can't get through as not a vulnerable person. We've been with sky since 1996 and supposed to be a VIP customer. It doesn't feel like it. If no one can help can someone tell me how to cancel our sky subscription as don't see why we should pay for no service.

I've been having some similar issues to other users on this forum. I ordered Sky Q earlier in year but the engineers couldn't install as the dish is too high on house. I therefore remained with Sky+ (with 2 set top boxes) - I got a refund on the equipment but still received my replacement card. After getting 'viewing card not authorised' messages recently, I have successfully replaced the viewing card and the Sky+ box in question is working fine. But my other box is still playing up and only showing the terrestrial channels. Are you able to help me get this one back to normal?

I am also having the same problem. Sky Q couldn't be installed, so was using an old Sky+ box with existing card. Have inserted the new card, but when I try and go to https://activatemychannels.sky.com/activate to activate it, it just redirects to my account page. How can I activate this new card?
